Commercial team strengthened at leading Sheffield law firm.

Sheffield law firm Bell & Buxton Solicitors has appointed Matthew Rodgers to its Commercial Property department, boosting the total number of solicitors in the team to four. Matt is a solicitor specialising in commercial property work. After graduating in law from the University of East Anglia he completed his legal practice qualifications at the University of Sheffield in 1996.

He has practiced in Sheffield ever since, having trained with Taylor & Emmet and latterly worked with international law firm, DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, acting for major developers, local authorities, investors and corporations. He has a great deal of experience dealing with all commercial property matters, including property acquisitions, disposals, site assembly, options, developments, and landlord / tenant matters.

Head of Commercial Property, Charles Ibberson, explains: “Bell & Buxton already have a particularly strong reputation in the area of commercial property and we are committed to building our team to continue to enable us to offer the best possible service to our clients. Matt will be an asset to our firm and we are delighted he has joined us. He is a lively character who will be key in demonstrating our service and expertise to both new and existing clients”.

Bell & Buxton’s Commercial Department has over 35 years experience covering all aspects of Commercial Property and Company Law. This appointment further demonstrates the increasing depth and expertise within the firm.
