Matrimonial & Cohabitation

We can advise on divorce, financial settlement, property transfers, pre-nuptial agreements, living together agreements and separation agreements.

Children

We provide a specialist service on private law issues and public child care. Private matters cover residence and contact arrangements and other specific issues such as removal from the jurisdiction and abduction. Public childcare deals with issues involving Social Services, Care Proceedings and Adoption.

Abuse

We have specialists who can deal with domestic violence and protection from harassment quickly and sensitively.

Barbara Cartledge, the Partner leading the team, specialises in financial matters arising from relationship breakdown and is an accredited specialist member of Resolution (formerly Solicitors’ Family Law Association) in finance and children matters. Kate Patterson is also a Resolution specialist in financial matters and is an advanced member of the Law Society Family Panel.
