Bell & Buxton Solicitors have long-enjoyed a prominent position within the specialist field of disputed Wills due to the pioneering work of the late Mary Butler, who sadly passed away in 2019.
Bell & Buxton have consolidated their position as a leading firm in the Yorkshire and Humberside region in the niche legal practice area of Contentious Trust and Probate with an excellent ranking in the Legal 500 publication for 2021.
The Will, Trust and Inheritance Disputes team has continued to achieve prominence and success under the current leadership of John Breeze, who is recognised by the Legal 500, a leading national legal directory, as a Rising Star for the second year running.
In awarding Bell & Buxton their ranking for 2021, the Legal 500 reports recent testimonials obtained during their research, including: “The team has a wealth of experience and specialism, and is highly regarded” and “John Breeze is professional, knowledgeable, approachable and readily available for his clients. He goes beyond what is required”
Bell & Buxton are also delighted to announce the strengthening of their specialist team with the new addition of Caroline Deathe, a Solicitor who is also recommended by the Legal 500 for her work in the field of contentious trusts and probate.
Caroline joins with ambitions of growing her specialist practice and will bring excellent connections as the recent Chair of the Leeds Junior Lawyers Division. The Legal 500 recognises Caroline as “an empathetic, pragmatic and driven litigator. She gives good advice and is always aware of the client’s needs and objectives.”
Caroline commented “I moved to Bell and Buxton having heard that the firm have a superb reputation in the legal field. I have a background of probate and property litigation and am looking forward to developing my career specialising in Wills, Trust and Inheritance Disputes.
I’ve received a very warm welcome to the team from John Breeze, Rachel Valentine, who recently joined the team as a paralegal, and the rest of the staff at the firm especially joining during the pandemic when everyone has been very supportive in introducing me to the firm, going above and beyond to make me feel very welcome!”
