Bell & Buxton Solicitors are pleased to welcome Thomas Scott who has started his training contract at the law firm this month.
Thomas has been working as a paralegal in the probate department while completing his Legal Practice Course.
His training contract will be for 18 months, taking account of the time already worked as a paralegal which reduces the contract from the usual two year period. The training will involve a series of six-month placements around the firm in a variety of departments so as to gain the widest possible experience. Thomas will become a fully integrated member of each team starting with the Private Client (Wills and Probate Team) where he has until now been a paralegal assistant.
Thomas studied law at Liverpool John Moore’s University and completed his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.
Charles Neal, Partner at Bell & Buxton, comments: “I am delighted to welcome Thomas to the firm as a trainee. I joined Bell & Buxton as a trainee myself so know first-hand that the firm is committed to nurturing talent and helping people to progress internally. I am looking forward to working with him as he begins his career in law.”
