Costs and Complaints Procedure for Notary Services

At the outset Charles B Neal will give an indication of costs, sometimes these will be on a fixed fee basis for example straight forward certification of documentation and on others it will be on an hourly basis for example where complex legalisation is required which may take not only time here but negotiation with the relevant Embassy.  In either case either the fixed fee or the hourly rate and an estimate of how much time is likely to be involved will be given at the outset.

Charles B Neal, as a Notary, is regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury.  If you are not satisfied with his services then in the first instance you should refer the matter to him.  If you are not satisfied with the outcome or if there is a delay in providing a response to your complaint then in the first instance the matter should be referred to:

If the matter is still not settled to your satisfaction or there is a delay then you can take the matter to the Legal Ombudsman but only if other avenues have proved unable to settle the matter for you or have delayed in dealing with a complaint.  The Legal Ombudsman can be contacted at:
