Emmanuelle graduated from the University of Reading with a 2:1 in Law in July 2017 and joined the Wills and Probate Department at Bell & Buxton in September as a Paralegal.
As a Paralegal in the Wills and Probate Department, Emmanuelle assists predominantly with probate files, including the closing of accounts, selling shares in the name of the deceased, dealing with the application for the Grant of Probate, payment of debts, drawing up accounts and distributing estates according to the Will.
Her role involves a high level of communication with clients, keeping them regularly informed on the progress of administration.
Emmanuelle also deals with Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, ensuring they are properly and formally complete and stored safely.
Works on a range of Estates, including a case where the decease did not have a will or any close family.
Distant relatives were located, and the percentages owed to each person were calculated according to the rules on intestacy.
